DNTL2130 Periodontics I
This periodontics course provides students with disease recognizing skills to identify the normal periodontium, recognize deviations, and understand the etiology and principles of periodontal diseases. It covers essential examination procedures, treatment strategies, and preventative measures, preparing students to deliver fair and inclusive care to diverse patient populations.Transfer Credit: CSU.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of all first and second semester Dental Hygiene Program courses with a grade of 'C' or better; 48 hours lecture. 96 Outside of class hours. (144 Total Student Learning Hours)
