Cougar Pride is a student‑led organization dedicated to supporting members of the Taft College LGBTQ+ community and their allies. The club fosters opportunities for students to build meaningful connections and feel supported throughout their educational journey at Taft College. Cougar Pride is committed to creating Safe Spaces where students, faculty, and staff can engage in open dialogue, explore ways to promote inclusion, and address challenges affecting LGBTQ+ individuals both on campus and in the broader community. The club’s goal is to cultivate a warm, inviting, and inclusive environment where students feel confident, valued, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
