MyTC and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

The MyTC Portal Account serves as a centralized repository for all your Taft College Accounts. It functions as a dashboard where your accounts are stored, accessed, and utilized. You have access to Canvas, Microsoft email & programs, Tutor services, Student services and registration accounts, and DegreeWorks!

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Requirement for Students

All students at Taft college are required to use Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) when accessing college provided digital services from off campus. This requirement applies to systems including, but not limited to:

  • Student email
  • Canvas learning management system
  • Registration and enrollment systems
  • Financial aid and student account portals
  • Any service that uses college issued login credentials

Students must enroll in MFA during their account setup or at the time they are prompted to do so by Taft college's IT system. Failure to complete MFA enrollment may result in limited or restricted access to college technology services.
